We love seeing how libraries use CELUS in real life—and even more when they share their experience with the community.
At the ER&L Conference, Betsy Tucker, Electronic Resources Librarian at Kansas State University, presented a poster showing how CELUS helped their team improve SUSHI harvesting workflows and usage tracking. After implementing CELUS in June 2024, K-State set up SUSHI harvesting for 97 COUNTER R5 vendors and used the platform to audit their setup, identify gaps, and improve reporting reliability.
The results? 16 broken credentials fixed, 25 new credentials added, and significant progress toward their goal of having SUSHI enabled for every available vendor. Even non-COUNTER compliant platforms could be included in their analysis through CELUS.
Thank you, Betsy, for sharing your work—and for showing how a good SUSHI audit can save a lot of future headaches.
